Description

Our small batch coffee roasters is based in the beautiful Margaret River. We specialise in single origin coffees from around the world which means we strive to bring high quality, interesting and flavoursome coffees to our customers. There is a movement called Third Wave of Coffee that aims for better quality of coffee by improving production at all stages and for lovers of coffee to consider it as an artisanal product, like wine, rather than a commodity. 1.   EL SALVADOR – LOS NOGALES. STRICTLY HIGH GROWN – BOURBON

Processing – Natural, Altitude – 1600-1700 masl, Cupping Score – 89.25, Varietal – Bourbon, Optimal Roast – Suits light -medium

Rich dark complex cup with a full syrupy heavy body. High yet clean citrus acidity. Dark cherry fruits linger to a caramel and soft leather finish.

 

2.   BRAZIL – MINAS GERAIS. DECAFF

Processing – Swiss Water Process , Altitude – 1000 masl, Cupping Score – 78.5, Optimal Roast – Suits medium

Stonefruit acidity with honey and almonds, juicy body with a smooth milk chocolate finish.

 

3.   ETHIOPIA YIRGACHEFFE – CHELELEKTU, GEDEO

Processing – Natural , Altitude – 1850-1950 masl, Cupping Score – 88, Farm Size – 2 Hectares, Producer – Tadesech Erbaye, Optimal Roast – Suits light-medium, Varietal – Heirloom

Plum, blueberry, carcara and cocoa flavours. Orange acidity through a dark inky body. Jaffa like dark chocolate finish with hints of rose.

 

4.   PNG – KEROMINE AX. ORGANIC

Processing – Fully Washed, Altitude – 1500-2000 masl, Cupping Score – 81.5, Varietal – Aruca – Blue Mountain – Typica – Bourbon, Optimal Roast – Suits a Medium – Dark Roast


Juicy clean body with blackcurrant, cinnamon and passionfruit flavour. Smooth orange and chocolate finish.

 

5.   SUMATRA – WAHANA. NATURAL

Processing – Natural, Altitude – 1300-1500 masl, Cupping Score – 84, Varietal – Bourbon and Typica, Optimal Roast – Suits a Light – Medium Roast

Dark inky cup with rich leather notes moving to jammy, tart berry and melon fruits. Mandarin acidity. Toffee and cacao nibs to finish.

 

6.   SUMATRA – WAHANA – RASUNA

Processing – Natural, Altitude – 1300-1500 masl, Cupping Score – 89, Varietal – Rasuna, Optimal Roast – Suits Light -Medium

Tropical fruit, balanced acidity, blueberry, juicy & sweet, full bodied cup with a long finish.

 

7.   NICARAGUA – JINOTEGA  – CARLOS FERREY. SHB

Processing – Natural, Altitude – 1200-1300 masl, Cupping Score – 88.5, Varietal –  H1  (a Sarchimore and Rume Sudan cross), Optimal Roast – Suits Medium

Aromatics of boozy tropical fruit. This coffee has notes of strawberries and peach, juicy blueberry acidity and dark chocolate with a long syrupy almond praline finish.

 

8.   COSTA RICA – LA CANDELLILA. SHB – GEISHA PALMILERA

Processing – Fully Washed, Altitude – 1400-1600 masl, Cupping Score – 83.5, Optimal Roast – Suits Light-Medium – A unique and sought after coffee, best served as a feature filter brew, Varietal – Geisha


Complex cup with dark sticky raisins and nectarines up front. Rounded citrus acidity. Soft silky and juicy body through to a long dark berry and cocoa finish.

 

9.   ETHIOPIA – GUJI – BANTI NENKA

Region – Guji Zone – Kercha District, Processing – Hand Picked, sundried – natural , Altitude – 1900-2200 masl, Cupping Score – 89, Optimal Roast – Suits a light roast, Varietal – Heirloom


Banana and chocolate milkshake with strawberry finish, amazing fruit. So one of those coffees that set a palate benchmark for flavour and elegance.

 

10.   NICARAGUA – EL PENON – LA BASTILLA ESTATE MICROLOT. RFA

Region – Jinotega, Processing –  Natural, sundried. Picked at final stage of ripeness, Altitude – 1350-1450 masl
Cupping Score – 91, Optimal Roast – Suits a light roast, Varietal – Red Catuai

Sweet coffee fruit, pineapple, fresh cocoa, blueberry, so a candy like overall sweetness

My name is Dale. Welcome to my small batch artisan coffee roastery based in Margaret River. I am passionate about what I do and focus on quality, striving for perfection in each roast. My love of coffee comes from my Mediterranean roots. Growing up on the beautiful Island of Malta, with heavy Sicilian and Italian influences, coffee is a part of life, a ritual and quality in the cup is a must.
