Description

Our Coffee Freshly Roasted Beans are Artisan made in beautiful Margaret River. We specialise in single origin coffees from around the world and strive to bring high quality, interesting and flavoursome coffees to our customers. 1.   EL SALVADOR – LOS NOGALES. STRICTLY HIGH GROWN – BOURBON

Processing – Natural. Altitude – 1600-1700 masl. Cupping Score – 89.25. Varietal – Bourbon. Optimal Roast – Suits light to medium.

Firstly, a rich dark complex cup with a full syrupy heavy body. A high yet clean citrus acidity and with dark cherry fruits that linger to a caramel and soft leather finish.

 

2.   BRAZIL – MINAS GERAIS. DECAFF

Processing – Swiss Water Process. Altitude – 1000 masl. Cupping Score – 78.5. Optimal Roast – Suits medium.

This been has a stonefruit acidity with honey and almonds, in addition to juicy body with a smooth milk chocolate finish.

 

3.   ETHIOPIA YIRGACHEFFE – CHELELEKTU, GEDEO

Processing – Natural. Altitude – 1850-1950 masl. Cupping Score – 88. Farm Size is 2 Hectares. Producer – Tadesech Erbaye. Optimal Roast – Suits light to medium. Varietal – Heirloom.

This bean has notes of plum, blueberry, carcara and cocoa flavours. With orange acidity through to a dark inky body, in addition to Jaffa like dark chocolate finish with hints of rose.

 

4.   PNG – KEROMINE AX. ORGANIC

Processing – Fully Washed. Altitude – 1500-2000 masl. Cupping Score – 81.5. Varietal – Aruca – Blue Mountain – Typica – Bourbon. Optimal Roast – Suits a Medium to Dark Roast.


A juicy clean body with blackcurrant, cinnamon and passionfruit flavour. Lastly, a smooth orange and chocolate to finish.

 

5.   SUMATRA – WAHANA. NATURAL

Processing – Natural. Altitude – 1300-1500 masl. Cupping Score – 84. Varietal – Bourbon and Typica. Optimal Roast – Suits a Light to Medium Roast.

Dark inky cup with rich leather notes moving to jammy, tart berry and melon fruits. Mandarin acidity. Lastly, toffee and cacao nibs to finish.

 

6.   SUMATRA – WAHANA – RASUNA

Processing – Natural. Altitude – 1300-1500 masl. Cupping Score – 89. Varietal – Rasuna. Optimal Roast – Suits Light to Medium.

This bean has notes of tropical fruit that has a balanced acidity with blueberry. A juicy and sweet, full bodied cup, lastly with a long finish.

 

7.   NICARAGUA – JINOTEGA  – CARLOS FERREY. SHB

Processing – Natural. Altitude – 1200-1300 masl. Cupping Score – 88.5. Varietal –  H1 (a Sarchimore and Rume Sudan cross). Optimal Roast – Suits Medium.

Firstly, aromatics of boozy tropical fruit. This coffee has notes of strawberries and peach, juicy blueberry acidity and dark chocolate and lastly a long syrupy almond praline finish.

 

8.   COSTA RICA – LA CANDELLILA. SHB – GEISHA PALMILERA

Processing – Fully Washed. Altitude – 1400-1600 masl. Cupping Score – 83.5. Optimal Roast – Suits Light to Medium. A unique and sought after coffee that is best served as a feature filter brew. Varietal – Geisha.


Complex cup firstly with dark sticky raisins and nectarines. Along with rounded citrus acidity in addition to a Soft silky and juicy body through to a long dark berry and cocoa finish.

 

9.   ETHIOPIA – GUJI – BANTI NENKA

Region – Guji Zone – Kercha District. Processing – Hand picked, sundried and natural. Altitude – 1900-2200 masl. Cupping Score – 89. Optimal Roast – Suits a light roast. Varietal – Heirloom.


Firstly, banana and chocolate milkshake, with a strawberry finish, amazing fruit. Therefore one of those coffees that set a palate benchmark for flavour and elegance.

 

10.   NICARAGUA – EL PENON – LA BASTILLA ESTATE MICROLOT. RFA

Region – Jinotega. Processing –  Natural, sundried and picked at final stage of ripeness. Altitude – 1350-1450 masl. Cupping Score – 91. Optimal Roast – Suits a light roast. Varietal – Red Catuai.

Sweet coffee fruit, pineapple, fresh cocoa and blueberry, therefore a candy like overall sweetness.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING POLICY

Shipment processing time

We are a rural location so all of the Australia Post estimated delivery times are based on “Country to destination”. All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone if you have supplied it on your order.

Shipping to post office (PO) boxes

The Margaret River Trading Co ships to addresses within Australia, and PO Boxes. But please note PO Boxes can result in additional delivery time.

Shipment confirmation & order tracking

You will receive a Shipping Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, duties and taxes

The Margaret River Trading Co is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order, if applicable. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

The Margaret River Trading Co is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipping carrier (Australia Post) to file a claim.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim and see Australia Post’s claims information.

International shipping policy

We currently do not ship outside Australia.

 

Refund Policy

Refund Policy (point 8 of our Terms & Conditions)

8.1  Since The Margaret River Trading Co is only a facilitator in introducing the Receiver to the Provider and providing a system to make safe payment, The Margaret River Trading Co does not hold any liability to the Receiver directly and will not personally refund them any payments made in the use of Services.

8.2  Notwithstanding the above clause, if a Receiver is unsatisfied with the services provided by the Provider or believes that they may be entitled to a refund, then The Margaret River Trading Co requires the Receiver to:

       a.  contact the Provider directly to request a refund; and

       b.  if contacting the Provider is not successful after fourteen (14) days, contact The Margaret River Trading Co through the ‘Contact Us’ section of the Website outlining why you believe you are entitled to a refund so we are able to determine if the Provider should be removed from the Services.

8.3  If contacted by a Receiver who is requesting a refund pursuant to the above clause, the Provider agrees that it will immediately:

       a.  complete the The Margaret River Trading Co refund request form (the ‘Request Form’) provided on the Website; and

       b.  provide both the Request Form and the email from the Receiver requesting the refund to The Margaret River Trading Co.

8.4  If the Provider agrees to a refund it is acknowledged that the Provider will instruct The Margaret River Trading Co to refund all or part of the payments made to the Receiver directly, less any fees and charges incurred by The Margaret River Trading Co in processing the refund.

8.5  Both the Receiver and Provider agree that they will comply with the Refund Policy contained in this Clause of these Terms.
